Legal Advice Boundaries

We provide training to practitioners working with people seeking asylum/sanctuary

What this course covers:

  • Understanding the rules and regulations around giving the legal advice
  • What qualifies as legal advice
  • How to manage the boundaries between support and legal advice
  • The implications of giving unregulated/unqualified legal advice for practitioners, services and clients.

Working with Interpreters (coming soon):

Interpreters are crucial to ensuring services are accessible to speakers of other languages. Good interpreting is highly skilled and difficult work but working with interpreters - whether you are a support worker, lawyer, GP, therapist or in any other role - also requires skill and thought.
